Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, I grew up in an English and German bilingual household.
After completing my Abitur with concentrations in Biology and Physics,
I attented Emory University in Atlanta, where I received a BA in Computer Science.
Here, I discovered my love of art and video games, prompting me to take classes in 2D and 3D Graphics,
and publish my own video game - Escaping Hell on Steam.
During Covid, I took a gap semester to do an internship with the Stuttgart-based
video game studio Studio Seufz, which then hired me as a part time game programmer
while I continued my degree.
To my own surprise, my background in design and programming lent itself to the creation of Augmented Reality experiences.
I was hired as an intern at Snap Inc. where I worked on Connected Lenses as well as some explorations into new lens archetypes.
After the summer, I was offered a fulltime position after my granduation in summer of 2022. I have now been working there for a year and
am grateful for the experience navigating a big company with even bigger goals.
